Our Story

Premier Roofing & Guttering was founded in Spennymoor by Sean Maughan after more than a decade on roofs across the North East. The business was built on a simple frustration: too many homeowners were being overcharged for work they didn't need, or undercharged for work that fell apart inside two winters.
Today we work almost exclusively across County Durham — Spennymoor, Durham, Bishop Auckland, Ferryhill, Chilton, Shildon, Newcastle and the surrounding villages — covering everything from a single slipped tile to full re-roofs, flat roof replacements, leadwork and seamless guttering systems.
Most of our work comes from word-of-mouth and repeat customers. That only happens when the job is done right, the site is left tidy, and the price quoted is the price paid.
